Yo Gotti visited the Breakfast Club to talk about his new album “Untrapped”. In the interview he explains, that this album expresses his growth as an artist, business man and as a person. He elaborates that in the beginning of his career he was trapped in his street mentality, which forbid him certain things like talk to strangers, give interviews and so on.
Also, he states that he is business-wise not fully independent, but that he has a independent mind state. Meaning, that he takes money from labels and distributors for his releases, but also puts up his own money, if the label won’t give him what he asks for.
